How would you interpret this paper topic? am i over thinking it?

The different worlds seem to visualize the difference from past world to present. The story basically demonstrates how America's philosophy is different from where she came from. Which shows the physical journey of change as well as the emotional journey from one world to another. The answer is to summarize these differences and how each one plays a role in the overall film.
